Safety & Community Guidelines

Quavara exists so the whole world can finally talk together. A place like that only works if it feels safe β€” so safety isn't an afterthought here. It's built into the room from the first message.

πŸ“„ A plain-language overview of how we keep Quavara safe β€” shown in your language so everyone can understand it. This is not a contract; the binding terms are our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (English).

Inara reads it aloud, in your language.

What's not allowed

The public rooms are for everyone, in every language, of many ages. These have zero tolerance and are removed instantly:

Disagreement, strong opinions, jokes, and honest conversation are welcome. We moderate cruelty and danger β€” not viewpoints.

How the space is protected

Four layers, working together, so no single point has to be perfect:

1. An always-on guardian

Inara reads every message in the public rooms in real time β€” in any language β€” and removes harmful content the instant it appears, before it can spread.

2. Room hosts

Every channel's creator sets their own house rules on top of Quavara's, and helps keep their own space healthy.

3. A human backstop

People, not only machines, have the final say. Anything serious is escalated to a person, and a permanent removal always requires human sign-off β€” never AI alone.

4. A permanent record

Every safety action is written to a tamper-evident, unchangeable log. We can always show exactly what happened and why.

Fair, not just fast

Protection is immediate; fairness follows. Consequences are progressive β€” a first mistake is a short pause from chat, not a ban β€” and every action can be appealed to a real person. Timeouts affect chat only; the rest of your account keeps working. If we get it wrong, we fix it and clear it from your record.

πŸ”’ Your private messages are private. The guardian watches the public rooms. It never reads, screens, or monitors private one-to-one messages between two people. Your private conversations are yours.

For parents

If you're deciding whether to let your son or daughter use Quavara, this is for you. The public rooms are watched continuously by an AI guardian tuned first and hardest against anything that targets a child β€” it acts in seconds, in every language, and every action is logged and reviewable by a person. Private messaging is never monitored, and it's never a place we push young users toward. We built the protection we'd want for our own family before we opened the door to yours.
